X^2=16 is not an exponential equation. In an Exponential Equation the variable is at the exponent. In part I of this series, I give you a number of examples of exponential equations that can be solved without using logarithms. For example 2^X=16.

In this second part, I explain how to solve exponential equations like 2^X=3 that need logarithms.
