Exponential Equations

I have removed all annotations from my videos that were used to correct errors (YouTube is getting rid of Annotattions) Any errors in the videos have been corrected in the NOTES. CORRECTION: On minute 4:56 the exponent should be negative 9

X^2=16 is not an exponential equation. In an Exponential Equation the variable is at the exponent. In this video, I give you a number of examples of exponential equations that can be solved without using logarithms. For example 2^X=16.

I have a second video, Exponential Equations Part II where I explain how to solve exponential equations like this 2^X=3 that need logarithms to be solved.
